House CM is located to the east of S. M. di Leuca, in an area with a purely scenic vocation.
It is a two-storey residence, with the living area on the ground floor and the sleeping area on the upper floor with a large terrace overlooking the Leuca marina.
The project developed the intention of synthesis as an architectural element capable of opening up to its surroundings, understood the latter both as a pertinential space for use by the unit itself and as a search for the surrounding landscape.
Hence the idea of emptying out, in the most literal sense, the large walls, replacing them with large glazed elements.
From the area intended for car parking, large stepped platforms allow the visitor to overcome the difference in height and reach the pool located to the south-west of Casa CM.
The infinity pool, falling into the terracing below, becomes the pivotal element for the patrons of Casa CM, its presence at the initial elevation being quite improbable, but to great surprise once the living level is reached.
